Purpose of the accreditation photo

The photo you upload in BeastPass is used both for visa processing with Saudi authorities and for printing your physical accreditation badge. Because of this dual use, the image must meet the official Saudi visa photo requirements. Images that do not meet these rules can delay your visa or cause your badge to be refused.

Key photo requirements

  • Size & background: The photo should be 2Γ—2 inches (about 45 Γ— 35 mm), in color, with a plain white background. There should be no shadows on the background or your face (Saudi Arabia Visa Photo Size & Photo Requirements).

  • Full face visible: Your head must face the camera directly with a neutral expression (no smiling or frowning). Both eyes should be open and clearly visible.

  • No hats or caps: You may not wear hats, caps, or fashion headwear in the photo. Head coverings are only permitted for religious reasons, but the face must be visible from the bottom of the chin to the top of the forehead, and from ear to ear (Saudi Arabia Visa Application Requirements and Forms).

  • No sunglasses or tinted glasses: You cannot wear sunglasses, tinted lenses, or heavy frames. If you normally wear prescription glasses, remove them for the photo if possible. If glasses are medically necessary, make sure there is no glare and your eyes are fully visible.

  • Recent photo: Use a recent photo (taken within the last six months) that reflects your current appearance. Avoid filters or retouching.
